‘Bomit’ presents “AKA”, Also Known As – A Bandana Art Show.
“AKA” is a mixed media exhibition promoting the diversity and relevance of urban art and the underground culture. The exhibition challenges artists to speak out using an everyday symbol of disguise, rebellion and resistance – the bandana- as their canvas.
“AKA” uses the bandana, a universal representation of concealment, as the artists platform for an open dialogue on the everyday invasion by modern technology, governmental control and a culture that pressures us to assimilate, on our private spaces and means of protecting ourselves.
